I’m Deb, a mum of 3 girls (4, 7 and 9yrs) from North West England. I’ve been married to Chris for 10 years. Before children I had done a bit of travelling, and had always wanted to continue that when the girls came along, but before we knew it, time had got on. So as 2020 rolled around we sat down and thought, it’s now or never. The girls are of an age that they will really get a lot from these new experiences, and yet still young enough that it wont unduly affect or disrupt their education.
And so we jumped. It was HUGELY daunting at first, I think had we been moving to a country where English wasn’t the primary language, I may have said no. But, so far, I’m really glad we did. Luckily for us we are in a covid free area, we have amazing scenery and wildlife to discover on our doorstep, and a much slower and simpler way of life to enjoy. So here’s to the next couple of years…!
